I am sharing these two cute penguin place christmas cards using punches from Stampin Up. I love punches and I have teamed the cute penguin images with a variety of them: pine tree punch, scalloped tag topper punch, elegant tag punch, double oval and the delightful penguin builder punch. The patterned background paper was created by stamping fresh fresia cardstock, with the snowflakes stamp from the Penguin Place stamp set with fresh fresia ink. If you were lucky enough to have a pack of the penguin playmates DSP which was Free with Sale-a-bration you could use one of the sheets from the pack
To add definition to the two tag punches i have drawn around the edges with some dash lines using the fresh fresia stampin write marker pen. The cute penguin and bird from the above card is cut out of the free sale-a-bration penguin playmates designer series paper pack
This adorable penguin was created by stamping black ink onto white cardstock with the penguin place stamps and cutting out using the penguin builder punch. I have used the blending brushes to blend the fresh fresia ink onto the front white section of the card and added the snowflake as an embellishment behind the penguin.
