Hi and welcome to my blog. As many of you know for the last 18 months the weekly face to face card classes I was running from my home were cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. This was very disappointing at the time for everyone but we needed to keep everyone safe and well. We just didnt realise how long it would be before we would be able to start socialising again.
Since April 2020 I adapted my business and provided those customers who wanted, with weekly ‘Crafting at home’ kits so they could still get to craft whilst in the comfort of their own home. Thanks to social media, mainly WhatsApp and Facebook we managed to stay in touch.
This continued up until the beginning of June 2021, when the rules around meeting in small social groups changed. This triggered the start of classes and my loyal customers returning. You can see some of the cards we made Here and Here. I would like to thank everyone who purchased the kits, delivered the kits and kept me busy and my business going. Unfortunately 4 of my regular crafters passed away during the pandemic. They will be sadly missed.
To ensure we keep safe, I supply plenty of hand sanitizer and ensure all surfaces etc are sanitized before and after all classes. Where practicable I set out, to allow for maximum social distancing and provide adequate ventilation.
Our first classes went really well and everyone was so happy to be back together crafting. There was lots of laughter and chatting throughout the two hours as well as creating a couple of lovely birthday cards
