We started by decorating
one of the kraft gift boxes. These are available in packs of 4 for just £2.75 and are great for decorating and stampin on.
We used a colour combination of ‘pool party’ and
‘so saffron’. The pool party panels were embossed with the argyle
embossing folder and the bow was created from the new designer series
paper stacks with the ‘so saffron’ paper. The flowers were stamped
using the Mixed Bunch and flower shop stamp set and co-ordinating punches.
The gift card was made
with ‘baked brown sugar’ and ‘whisper white’ adorned with three more
stamped flowers and some pressed clay moulded flowers for the centres
which had been coloured with ‘so saffron’ and ‘pool party’ re-inkers.
The exciting part of the craft session was when we all got to play with decorating the candles. I got a WOW when demonstrating this when the greaseproof paper was peeled back to reveal the images of the flowers and butterflies had been transferred from the tissue paper on to the candle!!
