It has been a very busy week for Linda’s Craftroom with lots and lots of crafting going on. It started last Friday afternoon with my regular weekly card class, then on Saturday and Sunday I had two full days of workshops with 12 wonderful ladies creating 10 christmas cards using the one sheet wonder technique. Here are all the cards we made using real red and old olive cardstock as a base and the poinsettia design paper out of the Under the Mistletoe DSP
The table all set up for the workshop with the pack of Under the mistletoe DSP, goodie bag and a little handmade cracker gift for everyone.
There were 12 different sides of paper to choose from with the Under the Mistletoe DSP. The following cards were made using the baubles design by Veronica. How different and gorgeous they look by using another sheet of paper! The orientation of some of the cards had to be turned so that the baubles were the correct way!
On Monday I ran my usual weekly card classes in the morning and afternoon and then in the evening I started my new evening class. The ladies who came thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were very pleased with their first christmas cards that they had made. It is always a pleasure to see how people react when they learn new things in crafting, especially the heat embossing. There are still spaces available on the evening class, please message me if you would like to join us.
This weeks class christmas cards using the Blizzard thinlits die and silver foil sheets. The sentiment was stamped in Balmy blue ink very easily using the stamperatus onto the stitched shaped circle.A few embellishments were placed around the circle using the sprig punch in balmy blue cardstock.
The 2nd card we made using the beautiful dashing deer in Night of Navy ink.
On Tuesday, I ran my third One sheet wonder christmas card class at Lilly’s tearoom in Keelby. Three lovely ladies joined us for another great crafting day followed by a gorgeous Afternoon Tea.
I had a few days of catching up with the dreaded housework and ironing and then tomorrow, I am travelling to Birmingham with Sara, one of my team members and were meeting up with several other hundred demonstrators around the country for a Stampin’ Up! Party to celebrate 30 years since the business began. I will be back next week with all the details of how our day went
