Last Saturday was my latest class at ‘Running with Scissors’. The project (apart from the challenge of eating the huge chocolate cookie – thanks Trish) was to make a Christmas box decoration/gift. Well, quoting one of my ladies ‘We had great fun’ and it really started to get us in the Christmas spirit to prepare for seeing all the Christmas Trees and decorations already on sale in the Town Centre shops.
The box frame was pre-made and could either be used with a cream or white insert. 8 people completed the project in a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
The picture included:-
- A decoupage reindeer and snowman from the White christmas stamp set
- A decoupage flower and wreath from the Wonderous Wreath stamp set
- A glittery tree from the Festival of Trees stamp set
- A sentiment from the Wonderous Wreath stamp set
Tracey was really pleased with herself not only because she actually finished the project in the class time, but was first to complete it, despite having to keep the shop running and serving drinks!!! Well done Tracey!!
