On returning home from our fabulous cruise holiday around the Mediterranean I have been catching up this week with my blog when I realised I had missed posting a couple of cards made earlier this month.

The first of our makes uses the new Watercolour Wings stamp set and co-ordinating bold butterfly framelits along with the new Butterfly embossing folder as a background.

 We
used Baked Brown Sugar and Pink Pirouette for the butterfly
which was layered onto a square piece of subtles designer series paper.

The striped paper is from one of the sheets out of the in-color envelope paper pack. This was overlooked at first when i first browsed through the catalogue. The pack contains  20 sheets of text weight paper 2 each of 2 designs in the 5 in-colours for only £5.50. Although it is designed to make envelopes and liners it is also ideal to layer up and use on cards.

The second card was very quick to create and uses the Build-a-birthday stamps to create birthday candles sat upon three strips of paper taken from the Cherry on top designer series paper stack.

I will be back soon sharing the cards we made in the classes last week
