I am catching up
again and we recently made the following fancy fold cards.

The first is a block card 

It looks complicated but is created from two sheets of card measuring  15cm x 25cm and scored at 5 cm intervals and with a couple of cut outs, fit together to form the steps. There are lots of tutorials on the internet with more detailed instructions
This fantastic 3D effect card folds flat into a standard 5″ x7″ envelope.

Both sides of the card were decorated so can be seen at all angles. Each of the squares were sponged with sweet sugarplum ink
