It was great to see so many people at Saturday’s ‘Make and Take’ workshop
at Running with Scissors. Most people came and stayed all day, having
fun and crafting whilst eating cakes and drinking coffee or tea.
We had a raffle for some Stampin’ Up! goodies, which was won by Yvonne and Jan.
Thank you to everyone who came along and made the day a success, and a huge thank you to my mum who was a great help and to Tracey who makes everyone so welcome and the hospitality and support
was 5 star.
The projects made
were a cracker, a favour box and two cards.
Both the cracker and the favour box were made with the envelope punch board

The new scalloped topper tag punch was used  to create one of the cards

Stamp sets used in the cards are Happy watercolour and Petite petals

If that wasn’t enough excitement for the
weekend, I had also booked a stall at a Spring Craft Fair at Lucarly’s in Humberston. This
was a complete contrast to the day before as we were able to sit down and rest our feet for most of the day!!
I sold
numerous Easter items, with the bird houses & owl post-it note holders being the most popular.
Following
the success of Saturday’s workshop, I am starting monthly card classes
at Running with Scissors, the first one being on Saturday 19th April
10.00am – 12.00pm. Spaces are already filling up, so if you would like
to reserve a place, either contact me on
07793293599 or email – lgilbert66@gmail.com  or contact Tracey at Running with Scissors.
That’s all for now, I am going for a little rest!!
