Hi everyone, Happy Monday to you and hope you all had a good weekend. Today I am sharing some cards we made in the classes last week.
The first card uses one of the flowers from the Best of Flowers stamp set with a colour combination of crumb cake, whisper white and soft blue.
The two patterned papers are from designer series paper stacks. The image was stamped in black Stazon and then painted with an aqua painter in pear pizzazz, soft blue and crumb cake. A few dots of silver glitter dazzling details were added to the flower to make it sparkle. The card was finished off with some crumb cake seam binding ribbon
For the next card we used a technique call ‘reverse spot lighting’
A piece of Crisp cantaloupe and pistachio pudding card were matted and layered together. One of the stamps from the Flower Shop set and one from the Mixed Bunch were randomly stamped onto a piece of So Saffron card in co-ordinating ink
Three holes were punched from the card through parts of the flowers using the 1 1/4″ circle punch. Three more flowers were inked and stamped separately on to whisper white in crisp cantaloupe ink and punched out with the co-ordinating and placed behind the holes matching up the flower petals
Centres of the flowers, some ribbon and sentiment were then added to finish the card.
Thanks for looking
