I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest recently using the Painted Poppies stamp set and the masking technique which I thought I would try out in one of my classes.

The large middle poppy was stamped first in black memento ink onto a piece of thick whisper white card. A paper mask was then placed over the top of the middle poppy and two more poppies stamped either side. A paper mask was placed on all three poppies and the stamp with the row of poppies stamped over the top. The mask was then removed to reveal your creation with the row of poppies behind the three large poppies!

The poppies were coloured in with the aquapainter and poppy parade ink refil. Once dried place the stitched rectangle die over the top and roll through the big shot to cut out.  Matte and layer onto some black card and glue to the cut out piece and again to the base layer to complete your card.
