I hope you are having a great start to the weekend. Whilst Paul is away I’m just catching up on my blogs from cards we made a few weeks ago. The stamp set we used is one that will never go out of date and it’s called ‘number of Years’. We are almost half way through the year again, so exactly, where are the years going. I still can’t believe I’m 50….

Anyway, I love the Number of Years stamp set and have found it very useful. I particularly like the floral stamps included in this set and created the following card in one of my classes.

I find some of the photopolymer stamps are quite tiny and as I was using them on this occasion,  I unfortunately lost one of the lilac flower stamps!. As you can probably see from the card above, I had to find a similar replacement in amongst my stash! Has this happened to any of you?  I hate it when this happens, I even tidied up my craftroom to try and find it!

I have seen quite a few of the pleated skirt fold‘ cards on Pinterest and thought I would have a go myself using papers from the Birthday Bouquet and Love Blossoms designer series paper stacks.

The cards  are very effective and quite easy to replicate using lots of different designs of papers

I used a variety of glimmer tape and washi tape  for the band across the middle and blinged it up a little more with gold and silver sequins and rhinestone.

The number of years stamps is one of the sets available as a bundle until 31st May. Items which are currently offered as a bundle in the current annual or seasonal catalogue will not be offered at a discounted price if purchased together in the new 2016/2017 catalogue. They will still be available to buy separately but not as a discount of 15%. A good reason to purchase before the end of the month!
