What a difference a few days make! I have been very busy this week
unfortunately nothing to do with crafting. Last weekend we were
emptying cupboards, packing boxes and taking out our old kitchen units before the
renovation work could start on Monday morning. The builders have knocked the wall out between the dining
room and kitchen creating one large room. You dont realise how much we need our
kitchen until there isn’t one! We have created a makeshift area in our
living room with a microwave and kettle, it takes me back to our caravan
days with such a little area of space to work

Day 1 after removal of wall and ceiling |
Despite all the work and chaos, I still decided to hold my regular weekly classes. Apologies to any of my ladies for the slight noise at times… I’m sure we also distracted them with our laughter and the odd crafting curse. I’m sure the end result will be worth it and provide a much bigger, better and brighter area to craft in. Anyway the plasterer is in this weekend, so almost all (Paul’s promised me ?) the loud noise and dust is out of the way and the new kitchen/dining (and craft area) will start taking shape.
Here are the cards we made a couple of weeks ago using the Moon Lake Stamp Set and the Butterflies framelits
