Hello, its Friday again, I can’t believe how quickly these weeks are flying by.
I have had yet another busy week, in total I have taught 5 classes and done a workshop party at a friend’s house.
One of the classes was at Running with Scissors. This is a lovely craft shop in Grimsby which is owned by my friend Tracey. This was the first time I had demonstrated at the shop and was overwhelmed by the number of people who attended. Although it was very busy we all had a very enjoyable afternoon with lots of laughter. I am planning on teaching a Stampin’ Up class monthly at the shop. Please contact me or Tracey at Running with Scissors to reserve a place. The next one will be Thursday 11th October 1 – 3pm
These are this weeks card classes. they are of a Christmas theme. The first one uses the triple layered technique with the brand now Snowflake Soiree stamp set in Baja Breeze and Night of Navy colours. The layered snowflake was created from the new Snowflake Flurry Bigz Die. This card technique can easily be adapted for other cards, such as birthday, anniversary, new baby etc.
For the second smaller card we embossed the large snowflake stamp with versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder onto Pool Party card and then placed a glittered large Snowflake die cut on top. The sentiment is from the Joyous Celebrations stamp set
All the above are now available to purchase from the Autumn/Winter catalogue.
The last date for ordering from the Main Catalogue 2011/2012 and the retirement list is Sunday 30th September
Please contact me if you would like to place an order.
The brand new 2012/2013 is being launched on Monday 1st October. There are lots more pages in this catalogue with lots and lots of fantastic new items. You can buy the catalogues from me at a cost of £4.50 but if you place an order for over £45 within the first two weeks you will receive the catalogue for FREE.
As it is now the weekend I think I will spend a couple of days chilling out and planning for my next classes.
Enjoyed your class this week Linda, as you say lots of laughs. Looking forward to your next one. Loving the new catalogue, lots of goodies calling out to me. xx
