I have another
Butterfly Basics” card to share with you today, I think this has to be
my favourite stamp set so far from the Spring/Summer 2015 catalogue. I have made this card in several of my classes including a workshop for a local recovery group in Grimsby, which went down very well.
The set is available to buy in three different styles:  Wood,
Clear and Photopolymer and if you purchase the matching butterfly
framelits as a bundle, you can save 15%.
For this card I have teamed the stamp set with Gorgeous Grunge. The background was stamped in Baked Brown
Sugar and Crumb Cake using the different splodge stamps in the set.

I created two colourway versions of the card, one using Blushing Bride (above) cardstock and the other using Crisp Cantaloupe (below).

The inspiration for the next card was from Card-io cards. I visited their stand at the Hobbycraft Show in Birmingham in November 2014, where there were lots of fabulous samples on display using their peg stamps. This inspired my thinking and since then I have been playing around with some of my Stampin’ Up! stamps and have created the following two cards. I have used the ‘tree and leaves’ stamps from the retired ‘Holiday Home’ stamp set and the fir cone and leaf from the ‘Lovely as a Tree’ set. Why not have a look at your stamps to see if you can create something similar…… Let me know how you get on?

The
ladies in the class had a choice of which stamp sets and card to create,
but both went down really well. Although it looks very complicated to
achieve, they were amazed at how quickly and easy it was, with stunning
results.
