I am sharing this fabulous new fun fold 4-step Christmas card with you today. I used the direct to paper technique to create the background paper
Direct to Paper Technique
It’s a really simple effect:
- ‘Brush’ your Misty Moonlight stamp pad over the Balmy blue card to create fine lines or subtle streaks with a darker edge.
- Lightly run the ink pad from top to bottom. Try to catch some darker edges, while getting more subtle streaks down the center.
- Repeat these steps to get a darker edge on the top and bottom of the cardstock, and subtle streaks all over. Repeat this process again with the Balmy Blue ink pad.
- Stamp random snowflakes all over cardstock in Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, and Whisper White Ink
Fun fold 4 step Card Instructions
Fun fold 4-Step Cards are really effective and will work well for many occasions. They all fold flat and will fit into a 6 x 6 envelope and you can write your message on the back.
I gained the inspiration for my card from Sam Calcott, Mixed up Craft.
Here is the template to create your own fun fold 4-step card
Use the template below and cut two from the patterned cardstock and glue to the fun fold card base
Die cut several trees, snowflakes and/or stars with your preferred dies in white and silver card and adhere to the card. I have used the new set whimsical trees bundle and a retired set In the woods dies to create the two cards.
