The retiring list has been out for a few days now and quite a few items have already sold out. It was a very frustrating day on Tuesday and apologise to anyone who experienced any problems with online ordering. There were major system issues as so many people were trying to place their orders! I am sharing the card and co-ordinating envelope box we made last week. We used the bow builder punch, Butterfly framelits, Flower Shop stamps and matching pansy punch for the creation.
I love the Lovely Lace background embossing folder
When I first created the card I stamped and punched the flowers out, placed them on the card but thought they looked a little flat.
With a technique I found on the internet I showed the ladies how to
create the 3D flowers by stamping each flower three times and cutting
out one and two petals from the flowers and joining it back up again
with glue to create the layers.This was a fiddly procedure but kept them
very quiet for a few minutes as well as sticky fingers! The petals were curled around a cocktail stick and when dried the layers were glued together to form a complete flower
We also made a co-ordinating envelope box with the envelope punch board to store the card
