First of all apologies for not having sent a blog out recently. Life has been hectic with numerous Birthday Celebrations and social events over the last few weeks. It would have also been nice to say lovely weather, but unfortunately typical for a bank holiday weekend, the weather has not been the best. Anyway, that said, I am now back in my craftroom and in catch-up mode, before planning some new projects and the run-up to Christmas.
The first card is a screen card. It is created from a single sheet of A4 card, it stands to make an impressive 3D display, whilst still keeping postage costs to a minimum.
The cards follow a very colourful floral style which make them ideal for a spring/summer event or special occasion.
The photograph below shows a plan view of the card. The stamp set used is the Flower Patch which comes in photopolymer and comprises of 19 different stamps at £22.95(134207). This set is also available as a bundle with the matching framelit dies at a cost of £37.25 (saving 15% 136788)
We used a range of colours which can be coordinated to suit your personal style or cater for individual taste…i.e. some people may want to change the sentiments!
The card from another angle showing more detail. A verse/greeting of your choice is then added on the reverse.
The second card was a very simple design utilising the rest of the stamps from the Flower Patch set. Both cards were made at my regular Friday Keelby Class and weekly gathering of friends.
Watch out soon for more cards, projects and photographs from events over the last few weeks.
