Hi everyone, these are the cards we created in my classes last week.
The first one uses the new holiday ornament framelit dies. We used the fancy bauble to die cut a shape from very vanilla card. 8 strips each 1 cm wide were cut from the festival of prints designer series paper and layered over the back of the hole and then glued onto crumb cake. This is a great way to use up those scrap pieces of card
The new core’dination card stock in cherry cobbler was embossed with
the lacy brocade embossing folder and then sanded with a sanding block to create a distressed/flock design.Merry Christmas sentiment is from teeny tiny wishes and cut out with the bitty banners
For the second card we stamped one of the trees from the everygreen stamp set in whisper white on to cherry cobbler and heat embossed it with white embossing power.
The silent night words in the shape of a christmas tree was stamped
onto acetate with Black stazon and placed over the top and attached with
4 silver brads. We again used cherry cobbler core’dination card which
was embossed and sanded to create the flocked effect and finished with
whisper white organza ribbon
The third card uses early expresso as the main card with a layer of cherry cobbler embossed with perfect polka dots. The christmas tree was stamped in crumb cake on to very vanilla card and the words were stamped over the top with cherry cobbler ink, this was layered onto early expresso card and the bottom was trimmed with the scallop edge border punch. The bow is tied from a length of very vanilla seam binding.
Here are a few more variations of the cards
Thankyou for the beautiful class, I loved both the cards and I like the variations you made too xxx
