Happy Easter to you, I hope you all had a lovely weekend and didn’t consume too much chocolate!
I have had a great few days. On Friday I was in my craft room making some cards and preparing for my first class on Saturday morning at Running with Scissors, which was enjoyed by everyone who attended. Thanks Tracey for all the hospitality!
On Easter Sunday we visited family and headed off to Sheffield Arena
in the afternoon. My husband had bought me some tickets to see Gary
Barlow for Christmas, unfortunately we think it was from a fake
website as the tickets didn’t arrive. I was so disappointed that we
decided to travel to the arena to see if we could purchase any spare
ones at the booking office ourselves.

Although the concert was a sellout, we were asked if we could wait for any returns and after 30 minutes I was delighted when the lady behind the counter handed us two tickets, 6 rows from the front! Apart from having to buy again, I was so pleased that we had waited and that my original tickets hadn’t arrived.
Gary Barlow was fantastic. He was on the stage singing for almost 2 hours, old songs, new songs and engaged with the whole audience.
Getting back to crafting, I have a few cards to share with you from one of the classes before I went on holiday. We made a couple of cards with an easter theme. The cards could also be used as a thank you, get well or sympathy card.
A few strips of washi tape brighten up a plain background. I love the daffodils on the scalloped topper tag which were made from the petite petals punch and one of the itty bitty punches for the centre.
Petite petals stamps and punches were used again with the trefoil cross and framed tulips embossing folder. So saffron and baked brown sugar colour combination
