To start the preparation for Easter, in my last class I provided the ladies with an extra treat. Instead of making our usual two cards, we made one card plus an Easter gift holder using the scalloped topper tag punch to hold either a creme egg or chocolate teddy. Yummy….

I found the technique for the following card on Pinterest and loved the beautiful effects each one gives. It is another way of using the Sale-a-bration ‘irresistibility designer series paper. This is stamped and the embossed area is then rubbed over with a sponge to take off the excess ink and it creates a ‘halo’ around the image
We used the flower stamps from the Crazy About You stamp set in Coastal Cabana and Pistachio Pudding
We stamped another two flowers from the set, cut them out, decoupaged them and added a very large rhinestone to the centre.
