As promised in my last post, here is the birthday card I made for our eldest daughter at the end of September. I had seen quite a few of these bendi cards on Pinterest and decided to try and recreate one myself
The inspiration for the decoration and colour combination came from the two box frames I had already made for her as a gift in blackberry bliss and baked brown sugar to match her kitchen
The white 6 x 6 inch shadow box frames were bought from the local Range store
The butterfly basics stamp set was used to stamp randomly over a whole sheet of a4 White card
This sheet was then cut up and layered onto the different sized pieces of blackberry bliss card to make the three layers and decorated with the butterflies
Side view showing the three layers
I was surprised at how easy the card came together, so much so I have created two more birthday cards for friends and a christmas card, which we will be making next week, so watch this space for more photos….

The bendy cards are super for displaying lovely things like butterflies. I did one a long time ago when Shelli did a creative challenge and still have it sitting in my craft room . I love yours it's really pretty. Zx
