Holiday ornament and keepsake decoration
Apologies for the delay in blogging. I have been really busy over the past three weeks, with classes every weekend and during the week since returning from our holiday. Friday is my last class of 2012 and then I can officially start the Christmas countdown and finish the shopping. I have a few projects to show you but unfortunately they are christmas presents and the recipients read my blog so I don't want to spoil their surprise. However I can share the Christmas Ornament...
Stamp-a-stack II with snow swirled, snowflake soiree and northern flurry
Hi there to you on this sunny Sunday morning. I am sharing the last three cards from our stamp-a-stack cards last weekend. Colour combination pool party and not quite navy. Stamp set is Snow swirled. The window effect is created by stamping the images onto one piece of card and then cutting it into four pieces and placing together like a jigsaw puzzle. The sentiment was stamped and punched out with the decorative label punch. The second card uses the northern flurry embossing...

Hi there, I have finally returned from my holiday around Southern Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand on an 18 day cruise on the Radiance of the Seas with Royal Caribbean to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary It was an experience we will never forget for a number of reasons. We met some lovely people, enjoyed fabulous food and saw some beautiful scenery and places. However, we and the ship weren't prepared for the cold, wet and windy weather we received with limited activities to suit all...

Apologies for the absence of blogging for the past two weeks but I am still on my 3 weeks+ holiday. Christmas Diorama card and box
Hi there on this wet and miserable Monday. I would like to try and brighten up your day by sharing the following project that we have been making in the card classes last week. It is a diorama card with a matching box. There are lots of samples of these cards around but I gained my inspiration from Jullie Kettlewell. You can view her original designs HERE. We used the apothecary art stamps and matching framelits for the design of the card with lots of punching...
Keepsake ornaments and evergreen
Hello everyone, today I am sharing the final two cards we made at the Christmas Stamp-A-Stack class last weekend. The first card uses crumb cake as the main colour. The shape of the card was cut on the big shot with the adorning accents edgelits and embossed with the coordinating adorning accents folder. The pattern on the bottom was stamped with the snowflake...
Polar party and joyous celebration!
Hi, I am sharing some more cards which we made at last weekend's Christmas stamp-a-stack session The first card uses the lovely Polar Party stamp set which we stamped in Stazon onto one of the new die cut apothecary framelits and then coloured in using the markers. Some white baker's twine was wound around the bottom of the card and a sentiment from teeny tiny wishes placed on top. The colour combo is not quite navy and bashful blue. The following card is one that Glenis and...
