 I’ve never made a sunburst before, so it was fun to try a new technique, basically you are making a background using spear-shaped pieces of patterned paper. This technique uses up all your scrap pieces of paper,.The strips are best cut using a trimmer and can be either thin strips or wider strips. I chose Highland heather ink and a sponge dauber to alter the colour of one of the plush speciality designer paper designs to create this alternative christmas card. This is the 2nd card in the November card class kit.  For this card I used a narrow strip of the beautiful plush poinsettia speciality paper again. A very simple card using just two of the poinsettia place papers one for the background and another one to fussy cut out the poinsettia flowers. if you do not like fussy cutting, one of the dies can also be used to die cut one of the flower designs from the paper    Product List Poinsettia Petals Bundle (English) [155148]...

JOY OF GIVING TAG PROJECT KITOur Crafting at Home class last month used the fabulous Joy of Giving Tag Project kit. It is a kit which includes all the supplies to make 30 tags, 10 each of 3 designs complete with instruction leaflet and a beautiful box to keep it all in  I had a play with all the elements of the kit and managed to create 15 cards, 3 each of 5 designs PLUS 21 tags, 7 of each 3 designs  One of each of the elements from the kit were taken out of the beautiful...
