Happy Hour Circle flip card and watermelon sprinkles of life
Happy Tuesday to you all and hope you had a lovely weekend. I am almost caught up now with sharing the class cards. I feel I have neglected my blog a little and haven't been able to get into my craft room as much as I would have liked. Regular readers of my blog will know we have had a very busy and hectic few months recently with renovating our kitchen and conservatory in between my husband travelling back and forth to Saudi Arabia with work. However, the project is almost complete now,...
World of Dreams and Build a birthday
I had lots of lovely comments about the beautiful colour of the previous card done in Elegant eggplant I decided to use the same colours for the following weeks class card. The card was made with quite a few layers again in elegant eggplant and whisper white using a dots embossing folder for the background and a die from creative expressions for the gorgeous oval lace effect in the centre One of the images were used from the World of Dreams stamp set which we coloured in first with Crumb Cake,...
Painted petals large 7″ square card
It is always good to come out of your comfort zone once in a while, and this is what I did recently for the following card. I have seen lots of larger cards on the internet recently and never made one to teach in a class before. I used the retired painted petals stamps set to create a background paper using Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz colour combination onto whisper white card. It was layered up with Elegant Eggplant and an embossed piece of whisper white using the Lovely Lace embossing...
More Moon lake and painted petals cards
Good morning to you all, today I am sharing some more class cards created a couple of weeks ago featuring the Moon Lake and Painted Petals stamp sets. This is the last in the series of cards made from these sets and unfortunately both stamp sets have now retired I have used these sets several times over the past few months and really like the images and cards they have created. Well done to all those people who bought these stamps, they are a definite keeper for me and...
Beautiful bunch flower pot and moon lake stepper card
Below I am sharing a couple of cards we made a few weeks ago. A flower pot card and a centre stepper card. The flower pot design was created using a strip of baked brown sugar card a couple of folds and inked with the Hardwood stamp and edged with a border punch. The flowers are from the beautiful bunch stamp and punch set. The flowers slide out of the pot to reveal a sentiment/greeting An extra strip of card was folded in half lengthways and one side was stuck to the back of...
New Kitchen
What a difference a few weeks make!!! My new fabulous kitchen is now near completion, in less than 3 weeks. The timescale was fixed, because Paul had less than 3 weeks at home and he didn't want to leave me in a mess, bless him :-). Here are a few photos Paul worked solidly before and after the builders had finished knocking the wall out and plastering the walls to install the kitchen before heading back to Saudi Arabia last Thursday. There are still a few things left to...

Moon lake, butterflies and house renovation!
What a difference a few days make! I have been very busy this week unfortunately nothing to do with crafting. Last weekend we were emptying cupboards, packing boxes and taking out our old kitchen units before the renovation work could start on Monday morning. The builders have knocked the wall out between the dining room and kitchen creating one large room. You dont realise how much we need our kitchen until there isn't one! We have created a makeshift area in our living room with a microwave...
