Merry Moments christmas bendi card and woodlands embossing folder
You may remember, a few weeks ago I made a 'bendi' card for my daughters birthday (HERE). For something a little different in our weekly and monthly classes, I decided to follow the same design and create one with a Christmas theme. The card we made is pictured below and gives a simple 3D visual effect, when viewed from different angles, yet still folds flat in an envelope. The card also stands up well and is less susceptible to falling from the usual knocks or draughts..... Good for the...
Christmas stamp a stack part 4
Here are the last two designs from the Christmas stamp-a-stack classes held a couple of weeks ago A very simple design using the scalloped topper tag punch and home for Christmas papers We all fell in love with the sheet of paper full of bambis in all different poses of sitting and standing, and some with red noses or red bow ties! Lots to choose from Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
Christmas stamp a stack part 3
This is the second set of two cards from this years Christmas Stamp-a-stack card classes, they were also the longest to create during the session. Although they are principerly only 2 colours, the cards utilise several different elements and techniques: two types of embossing, cutting out the sleigh ride edgelits and creating the flowers. I think it was due to all the punching of the flower petals and making them up that took up most of the time.... Maybe some chatting in between This one is...

Christmas stamp-a-stack
Hi all, we are still in the middle of the Atlantic heading for New York. We've been to see a 2 hr spectacular of the west end show, 'we will rock you', with one of the lead roles being played by 'Curly Watts' for those people that remember him from coronation street. We've been on the dodgems, seen more shows and unfortunately eaten/drank too much....inevitable. Paul is fascinated by the electronics and robotics the ship has to offer, Robotic bars, robot shows etc. Anyway back to the purpose...

I have been that busy doing the usual card classes, two Christmas stamp-a-stack etc. that life is only just catching up with me. We are now on the final holiday of the year organised by Paul, so finally have time to sit and think... We are currently in the middle of crossing the Atlantic Ocean on a cruise to New York, which is far from relaxing, with too much to see, do and eat, believe it or not, even some...

Lovely as a tree meets sleigh ride edgelits
Hello everyone, I'm so engrossed in making cards for the festive season, that I am along way behind in my posts. These are two cards we made in the classes a couple of weeks ago, but it seems a distant memory. We have made new cards every week since and I am now putting the final touches to the Christmas stamp-a-stack sessions. This card uses the sleigh ride framelits, which are one of my favourite items from the seasonal catalogue. They just add that finishing touch to any snow theme. If you...
Butterfly basics bendi birthday card
As promised in my last post, here is the birthday card I made for our eldest daughter at the end of September. I had seen quite a few of these bendi cards on Pinterest and decided to try and recreate one myself The inspiration for the decoration and colour combination came from the two box frames I had already made for her as a gift in blackberry bliss and baked brown sugar to match her kitchen The white 6 x 6 inch shadow box frames were bought from the local Range store The...
large flower shop birthday card
Today I am sharing a card I made for my youngest daughter's birthday way back in August which I have just realised I haven't shown yet I mixed some of my Stampin Up goodies with other products I have in my craftroom to create this fabulous 8"x8"card. The flowers were made by stamping several of the flowers from one of the Flower Shop stamps and punching them out with the pansy punch. One of the petals from each of the flowers were removed and flower stuck back together. These were...
