The last Christmas card we made in the class for this year was a special diorama card. I love to make diorama cards as they fold flat to go in an envelope but also will stand up to take pride of place on a mantle piece or card display! You can even add a battery tealight inside to light up the scene. Last week I published a post on the vertical wall Christmas decoration/banner, using the winter wonderland papers, which we made in our Saturday afternoon class a few weeks ago. The second project we made in the class was a beautiful luminaire decoration, created from both the Hearth & Home and sleigh ride framelits. For the first classes after my holiday I decided to try out some more new techniques using the woodland embossing folder.   If you look closely at the white and blue glittery card on the right, you will see that the woodland effect is embossed and glittery. 'Versamark' ink was applied on the embossing folder prior to running it through the 'Big Shot' and then we applied 'heat and stick' powder to the embossed image and applied heat. Whilst sticky, we then applied dazzling diamond glitter....

The last class I prepared before my holiday is featured below. I even took some craft items with me to complete on the cruise, thinking I would have plenty of free time.
