Number of years card in a box

Number of years card in a box

I set the ladies a challenge last week to create a card in a box using the number of years stamps and framelits, and a mixture of balloon and stars punches in a colour combination of  Bermuda Bay, Pistachio Pudding and Wisteria Wonder You may remember I made a similar one for my husbands 50th birthday in black, gold and silver combination you can view it Here There were quite a few elements to the card which involved lots of punching out of the various colours for the stars and...

Sky is the limit and Rose garden

Sky is the limit and Rose garden

Before the Sky is the limit stamp set retired as one of the Sale-a-Bration Freebies, we used it in class to make another male orientated card. You can't get enough of these opportunities to create a male card!   We teamed the aeroplane with the new World Traveler embossing folder, that I had in my stash for a while but never got round to using it and sponged over the embossed areas with Crumb Cake and Soft Sky ink Like in previous Sky is the limit cards, we added a circle of vellum...

Bloomin’ Heart Valentine Card

Bloomin’ Heart Valentine Card

A quick post from me today to show you the Valentine's Card I made for my husband. Unfortunately we couldn't spend the day together this year as he had to go back to work in Saudi Arabia for 3 weeks. However, thank goodness for Skype and Facetime!  We also have lovely memories of our weeks cruise holiday last week in which we enjoyed romantic meals which were cooked for us every night! The bloomin heart thinlits was used to cut the beautiful heart centrepiece from some luxurious red foil...

50th birthday celebrations

50th birthday celebrations

It was a double emotions day in January when Paul celebrated his 50th Birthday 🙂 . He was adamant he didn't want a party, but we managed to convince him to have a family gathering, which I think he really enjoyed. The only problem is, Paul turning 50, means I am also almost 50! :-(. Anyway enough of that depressing thought...lol, below is the card I made for his special day. Even Paul was impressed, which doesn't come easily these days..... I used the new large number framelits along with...

Botanical blooms

Botanical blooms

Apologies for the lateness in posting this blog, but time was racing away with so much happening in late January and now being on holiday for a week. I thought this week of relaxing would give me a slot to post whilst supping a glass of wine. I was right, so here are the cards we made a couple of weeks ago.  The first is a pop out swing card which means it will stay stood up easily, and when folded still fits in a c6 envelope.  The card was made with the new botanical framelits...

Sky is the limit and bloomin’ love

Sky is the limit and bloomin’ love

This week I decided to use one of the free sets available from the sale-a-bration cataloue this year. The catalogue has been so popular this year, with many of my customers already taking advantage of the free offers. The stamp set I used was the 'Sky is the limit' which is one of my favourite FREE sale-a-bration stamp sets this year. It is so much fun and I love the old aeroplane. The sky is created by punching out a 'cloud' from the tree builder punch and using it as a mask. Sponge soft sky...
