Hi, One of the latest cards we have made is ideal for making into a matching card and tag set. The tag on the card is decorative only, but if you make 2 together it would double up as a perfect gift tag. The background is made using the Brick Wall textured embossing folder. This simple embossing pattern is also great for men's cards and seems to be the one folder I keep going back to using on a regular basis. I hope you are having a great start to the weekend. Whilst Paul is away I'm just catching up on my blogs from cards we made a few weeks ago. The stamp set we used is one that will never go out of date and it's called 'number of Years'. We are almost half way through the year again, so exactly, where are the years going. In my last post, you saw the delicate heart die-cut from the 'blushing bride' glimmer paper, using the Bloomin' Love bundle,  so this time we used the 'waste' and filled the heart shaped hole with another die cut white heart. There were quite a few layers to create this card. We used the 'happy heart' embossing folder on one of the layers.  Today I am sharing this fancy fold criss cross card. I love this card because it is so unique. It can be made into a gift card or invitation and it really isn't too difficult to produce For this card I have used the botanical garden framelits for decoration and made an insert card which slides out of the top and stamped the botanical flowers around the outside For the next card I have used the now retired Sale-a-bration Flowering Fields stamps. I recently run a Saturday class creating a mini star book using the Birthday Blooms stamp set in blushing bride and Mint Macaron colour combination and the matching birthday Bouquet designer series paper There were two different samples available on display. One of the books was decorated with  quotes and photos and the second one was filled with just sentiments and quotes.  The ladies could choose which one they wanted to create.     The mini star book folded and closed....

  My Mum & Dad celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary (Emerald) at the beginning of April   This is the card I made for them. As you can see I have used the Bloomin' Heart framelits and stamp set as the main centre feature of the card and as it is emerald I used Cucumber Crush coloured card along with the whisper white, some white stitched satin ribbon and a few pearl embellishments.
