Hello everyone…Its Friday and another week has disappeared in the blink of an eye. At least
we have seen summer at last, which even though it has been a little too warm for me at times, it was nice to see the sun shining and be able to sit
outside in the evening
I would like to share the card with you that we have been making in the classes recently. It is a concertina tag card using one of the beautiful new in colours Blackberry Bliss teamed together perfectly with Pool party and Whisper White.

The concertina was created by scoring two pieces of A5 card in half and then joining the two pieces together to form three panels
We made the card in stages, preparing all the panels separately before placing them on the concertina card.

A close up of the front of the card showing one of the ‘four frames’ stamped in crumb cake and punched with the decorative label punch. These are available to buy as a bundle saving 15% (wood £29.25 and clear £25.75) Two butterflies were stamped and punched out and mounted on 3D foam to give  some dimension.

We wrapped a length of Lost Lagoon stitched satin ribbon around three of the panels.(I do love this new ribbon)
On the front  panel we punched three flowers from the itty bitty accents punch.  The rhinestones in the middle of the flowers were coloured in using the new blendabilities

One of the inside panels showing  the ‘Dictionary’ background stamped with crumb cake and then
stamped butterflies from ‘Papillon Potpourri’ in the same colour.
All the inside panels had a pocket containing a tag in which a message of photo could be added

All
edges were inked with crumb cake and the sentiments are from the Perfect Pennants stamp set

This is how the card looks opened out. Each of the panels could be made into 4 individual cards if you didn’t want to complete it as a concertina one.

As mentioned in a previous blog post, we made this card at my monthly class at Running with Scissors, Grimsby.  The next class at Running with Scissors is on Saturday 16th August 10am – 12pm and at my home on Sunday 17th August and Monday 18th August when we will be making a waterfall card and matching box.

There are still some spaces available  so please message me if you would like to reserve a place on one of next weeks classes.
