As promised I am sharing the card birthday card I made for Paul last week.
I used the same colour combination of Night of Navy and Smoky Slate as one of the previous mens card along with the Little Letters Thinlits dies and Adventure Bound Designer Series Stack

Although he was wished a Happy Birthday, It was far from it!! He was travelling to Saudi Arabia
overnight on Sunday, arriving at the first flight connection stop on Monday, his birthday. Due to the passing of the King of Saudia Arabia at the end of last week, it was chaotic at passport control
in Jeddha and after waiting 2
hours he eventually missed his connecting flight. He had to wait in the
airport all day and couldn’t even get an alcoholic drink to celebrate
his birthday. However after
waiting over 12 hours he was put on a standby seat for another flight
and
had to ‘barter with a handful of Saudi Riyal money’, 15minutes before take-off.
He arrived at his hotel at midnight without any luggage as it
apparently had got lost!. It was the worst birthday he had ever had
(in hindsight I think he may have enjoyed the bartering bit!), he had no clean clothes and all his cards and presents were in the lost suitcase unopened!!

Most of his presents will be waiting for him at home, when he returns in mid February. Due to the heavy restrictions and strict
penalties in Saudi Arabia, we felt he had better leave them here!!!!! PLUS it leaves room to bring back some Dates…lol.

Things
got better the following day and he managed to retrieve his luggage and
all his belongings and decided to celebrate his birthday the day after with a glass of fruit juice and icecream!!
We had a few birthdays in the family last week and this is one of the cards I made using the circle thinlits die.
The cards
are similar using the the Happy Hour stamp set and some of the papers
from the Best Ever Day designer series pack which is another FREEBIE
