It was my eldest daughter’s birthday last Saturday, I can’t believe she is now 22 years old all grown up and independent, how time flies by so quickly.
This is the card I made for her. It is created from three envelopes stuck together by the flaps to form a concertina card
I used retired designer series paper attic boutique, pool party, so saffron and soft suede colours. The sentiments are from the Delightful Dozen stamp set. I also used the labels collection framelits, lace border punch, 6m scallop circle, adorning accents edgelits, polka dots embossing folder, itty bitty shapes punch and a few flowers from my stash to create the finished effect
A huge big thank you to my lovely friend Margaret who gave me this beautiful bunch of roses on Tuesday. Along with three other friends we meet up on a Tuesday afternoon to share crafting ideas and general chatter. For the past few months Margaret hasn’t been able to attend on a Tuesday very regularly as she has just celebrated her 40th Wedding Anniversary and has been travelling around the UK to visit 40 different areas.
As she has now almost completed her task (one more place to visit) we will be able to enjoy her company once again on a tuesday afternoon. Thank you again Margaret x
Beautiful card Linda. time flies so fast and in a blink of an eye your Little girl has grown into a beautiful young woman.
It will be good to get back to our 'normal' Tuesday routine of laughing (a lot) and crafting. xx
I agree with Anita, but she forgot the swearing !!! (only when things go wrong lolxx) a great card Linda, love the colours you have used. xx
Thank you. I forgot I'm going on my travels too at the end of the month, so there will be another 3 weeks when we will not get back to our 'normal' tuesday afternoon x
