Whilst we were on holiday a couple of weeks ago my husband and I celebrated our 28th Wedding Anniversary!
This is the card I made for him and one we recreated in the classes last week
A large heart was cut out using one of the heart framelits onto a spare piece of card and placed it over the base white card and the centre was sponged with crumb cake. Leaving the mask in place, I randomly stamped ‘I love You’ over the top.The mask was then removed and the punched out leaves are stuck around the edge.
A couple of birds and wings were punched from the bird builder punch and edges were sponged. The wings were placed in an embossing folder to give it a fancy element
The second card used a similar masking technique but with three squares instead of the one heart.
The edges of the card were scored, inked and glued to the base card with 3d foam pads to give it dimension. Dazzling diamonds were added to the images to give a little sparkle
These are very quick and simple cards to re-create
Look out for more cards like these over the next few weeks with a christmas theme!
