Occasionally I run an extra workshop on a Saturday which takes between 3-4 hours to complete creating a more complex project and one that we wouldn’t have time to finish in a regular weekly class.

A couple of weeks ago I ran a workshop to create four stamped ceramic tile coasters, with four co-ordinating notelet cards and envelopes in a handmade box

I gave the ladies a choice of  either the Beautiful You or High Tide Stamp sets to use on their coasters.

The demand for attending the class on the Saturday was very high, so much so I put on an extra one on the Monday afternoon!

Altogether over the two days 18 ladies attended the workshops and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had so much fun.

The ladies were stamped with Black Stazon onto the ceramic tile and then coloured in with Sweet Sugarplum Stampin’ Write Marker. The High Tide was stamped with Stone Gray Stazon. The tiles were then sealed with a protective spray.

Each kit contained enough foam pads for placing underneath the coasters so they do not mark the furniture

A pizza style box was made to hold all the tiles and notelet cards and finished with cream satin ribbon and a tag.

I was so inspired with making these tiles, I looked through all my stamp sets and have created a few more different ones They make excellent gifts for family and friends (or to keep for yourself!)

I am planning another Saturday workshop in May using the So Succulent flower dies, i will post more details on my blog very shortly
