Hello to you on this beautiful Monday morning.  I apologise for being absent from blogging but we have had a hectic household for the last two weeks.  My husband actually took a week off work to decorate our kitchen. For  anyone who knows him  this is totally out of character as he is a workaholic. This meant that I was his assistant  in all sense of the word and there has been no time for crafting or blogging!

Here are the cards we made at our latest card class using the Mixed Bunch stamp set and co-ordinating punch which is featured in the mini catalogue. I love this set and have been using it quite a lot.

The smaller square card is a gate fold with double punched gates. Instead of opening from a fold along one edge, it opens in the middle with two sides acting like a pair of swinging gates. The front was randomly stamped using the mixed bunch stamps in real red, bashful blue and pear pizzazz colours. The two ‘gates’ were then punched each side with the blossom punch and when closed forms one cut out flower. Another flower was stamped in bashful blue placed in the middle of the cutout on the back panel

The second card uses the colours of Wisteria wonder, calypso coral and night of navy. I used First Edition Designer Series Paper cut with Label collection framelit dies matted onto a larger frame cut from night of navy.   The background  was stamped with Just Believe,
the flowers and leaves punched with Boho Blossoms and Bird Builder
Punch.  The butterfly was created by stamping one of the flowers from
the Mixed Bunch set, in versamark and heated clear embossing powder. I
cut two petals from the image to create the butterfly shape.  I then
sponged the middle with So Saffron and the edges with Calypso Coral to produce the beautiful tones.

I must sign off now and prepare for the two parties I am doing this afternoon and later on this evening.  I will be back tomorrow to share the make and takes we will be making
