The Christmas tree was up in time for the last class I did at home and we celebrated with mince pies and chocolates.
We made this beautiful card in a box which was the inspiration from a fellow Stampin’ Up demonstrator Monica. Here is a link to her website with a fabulous tutorial and easy to follow instructions
What I love about this card is that it actually folds down flat and just fits into a 6 x 6″ envelope., but if you can’t bare to part with it, it also makes a wonderful Christmas decoration
I gave everyone a choice of either using baked brown sugar or cherry cobbler as the base. We then decorated the sides of the box with various designer series papers and stamped numerous sizes of snowflakes and cut them out with the matching framelits. This was made much easier by using the magnetic platform.
Here are some more I have made with different papers and colours
I made a similar one for my mum’s birthday exchanging the snowflakes for flowers. You can view this HERE
Well, the presents are almost wrapped, i just need some last minute bits from Meadowhall. Thanks for looking, until next time xxx
