Today I am sharing a ‘baby’ theme of the box frame that we made in a recent class. The principle of a box frame is very versatile and can be used to showcase delicate items or 3D decoupage, which is then protected by the glass.

The first one I made  coincided with the requirement to make a small gift for a newborn baby girl, back in July, which was also the time of the new catalogue and my annual launch party. The need for a baby theme, enabled me to promote the ‘something for baby’ stamp and framelit set.

It created lots of discussion at the event and I had numerous requests to plan a future class. It should be noted, that the frames can be painted in any colour or alternative frames purchased in natural wood, from local retailers, to match any existing decoration in your home or to make an even more unique gift (in this example, the frame was plain white).

The ‘something for baby’ stamp set has all the basic requirements, which can be used for both girls and boys or even a neutral gift in lemon and green ….

I made a similar design in blue/green colour combination for a baby boy

Gifts like this can also be made in any size to match existing or new frames. So if you have an old box frame, why not give it a ‘face-lift’ with a new internal design
and go for the Christmas combination, as per a previous post.

I must sign off now, I have some last minute preparations to do for the Christmas stamp-a-stack classes on Saturday and Monday
