What else can you use a muffin tin for?
Christmas is just around the corner and you may already be thinking about home baking… Have you ever thought what the similarity is between a muffin tin and an advent calendar…. If you had asked me a few weeks ago, I would have probably said chocolate….
What else? Anyway, with a 24 bun case tin, it can be very easily turned into an Advent Calendar.
If you haven’t bought your calendar yet, why not give it a go….. It can then easily be used for baking during the year and then bought out again next Christmas….
You can even choose your own chocolate surprise, behind the window. Well I suppose it wouldn’t be a surprise then, but hey ho……
The picture above shows the finished design, which can be changed, if required. The tin is made from a standard 24 piece muffin tin (I can even throw in some cake cases for when Christmas is over) and the window covers are different designs on a magnetic backing… I’ve used the Elizabeth Shaw after dinner mints in mine…yummy.

If you are free on Saturday 22nd November, why not come and give it a go and use it for many years to come……
The cost will be £12
which also covers the cost of the baking tin and all the magnetic covers….
Another option could be to host a party and get together with friends to make it…..
