Since the start of the year I have been having a great time creating new designs with the lovely new Stampin’ Up! products from the Spring/Summer Catalogue.
We started the classes at the beginning of the New Year making a card using
a gorgeous stamp set called “butterfly Basics”. What is great about this stamp set is that there is a set of framelit dies that you can buy. If you buy them together you can save yourself a total of 15%
All the images used on the card are from the same stamp set. (11 stamps in total) The fern was stamped four times in Pistachio pudding along with the little postmark. The flower image was coloured with Pink Pirouette and Pistachio Pudding marker pens and the honeycomb stamped in Baked Brown Sugar.
The
Happy Birthday sentiment is a great size and I love the funky font.
This was cut out with one of the apothecary accents framelits and a border punch
trim was added along the bottom

The butterfly was cut out twice with the co-ordinating Framelit die in pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake and layered together
I purchased the Four Feathers stamp before Christmas as I saw numerous card designs on Pinterest and couldn’t wait to ink it up and start creating some cards with it.
It is not very clear from the photo but I used the resist embossing technique for the background strip and sponged pear pizzazz and soft sky ink over the top. I know it all sounds complicated, but it isn’t and the results are fantastic
The feather stamps were stamped in versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder onto vellum and then cut out on the big shot with the matching framelits. It makes an excellent thank you or sympathy card.

Both cards are lovely Linda, love the resist technique, but the butterfly wins my heart ( must be spending too much time with Ann lol ) xxx
Thank you, the butterfly basic stamps and frame lets are my favourite from the new spring/Sumer catalogue, I will be getting lots of use out of them x
