I hope you are all keeping well wrapped up and warm in the freezing cold weather. Although it seems cold and miserable here, Paul watches BBC World News whilst he is in Saudi and some parts of the world are much worse off, 2-3 metres of snow in a matter of days, 400 mm of rain in a day etc.. I suppose we should actually feel blessed.

To take you mind of it today I am sharing the cards we made in our classes this week. I am now running three classes on a weekly basis, Monday morning and Monday afternoon at my home in Stallingborough and Friday afternoon at Keelby. I am also running a monthly class on a Sunday morning,  again at my home.(Next one is this Sunday 8th February 10am, places still available) I can certainly offer you a warm and friendly welcome to them all.. please come and join us.

The Monday morning class has proved very popular and places are limited but there are still spaces left on  Monday and Friday afternoons if anyone would like to come and join us. We are a friendly group of ladies who love to craft and have a natter along with a few laughs at the sametime!

We used the new Something Lacy stamp set from the Spring/Summer mini catalogue as a beautiful background for the first card. It was inked with versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder onto crumb cake card. I love the effect it has created. We have a couple of new ladies who have started coming to the classes recently and it is always great to show them the heat embossing technique and hear them whisper ‘ WOW’ at the finished result!

We used the heart border punch at the top right and placed some dazzling details glimmer paper behind. Three hearts were punched from some more glimmer paper and glued to the bottom left of the card to co-ordinate with the top.

A little more glimmer paper was used for the large heart.

For the next card I wanted to make one which was a little different and one which I hadn’t made before.

I looked on Pinterest for inspiration and liked the idea of a card with a removable bookmark which can be teared off and used by the recipient. When folded the card fits into an ordinary C6 envelope.
The Lotus Blossom stamp set which is FREE with a £45 spend during Sale-a-bration was an excellent choice for the stamped images in Coastal Cabana. This is a fun and easy way to stamp with three stage stamping using just one ink pad.

I hope you enjoyed my share with you today and if you would like to order the products to create the cards at home, please email me or go to my Online SHOP

Hope to see you all soon at one of my classes or even just for a catch up
