In preparation for Valentines day or even an anniversary or wedding, last weeks cards were based on a ‘heart’ theme. Two versions of the card were made in different colour combinations.

The black, real red and white one for those ladies who wanted to make a Valentine’s card and a crisp cantaloupe and crumb cake one for those who wanted to make an anniversary card instead

Just in case we wanted to include a small gift, we also made co-ordinating treat bags to match!

These products used quite a few new products from the spring/summer mini catalogue. Can you spot them all?

The heart confetti punch is gorgeous. This was used in various combinations at both the top and bottom of the cards to create a different look….

It may look like ribbon, but the bow is made from card, using the ‘bow builder’ punch. It is a fantastic accent to all cards and projects and so easy to assemble especially if using mini glue dots to stick the components together, which creates a shallow 3D effect.

I will be back later to show you the Valentine Card I made for my husband!

Have a lovely weekend and don’t forget to book on any of my future classes
