Easter is approaching and I knew I had the perfect stamp set in my stash to create a fabulous Easter Card. I have had the Indescribable Gift stamp set for quite a few weeks now which hadn’t seen any ink up until now.
The stamp was inked with versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder on to the vellum. An embossing ball tool was used on the back to emboss the image. We then coloured the image on the back with Stampin’ Write markers, using Calypso Coral, and Pear Pizzazz, It was attached to the whisper white card with four small brads
A new technique was used in the class for the second card. We used a brayer inked up with soft sky ink and rolled it across the inside of the spring flowers embossing folder. We also found it worked just as well by rubbing over the embossing folder with an ink pad.
The
white card was put inside the folder and it was put through the big shot
to create a fabulous background effect.
You could choose the
debossed or embossed image for your finished look
I did a workshop for a group of ladies using the same technique but with Sahara Sand
Two of the cards from the workshop showing both the embossed and debossed backgrounds. Don’t they look great!
Why not have a go with your embossing folders to see what effects you achieve

Stunning designs Linda, I am especially liking the parchment one, I think I might have to have a play with that idea xxx
