Today I wanted to share the cards I have done during the last weeks classes. It has been a very busy week with my monthly class on Sunday morning,  two classes on Monday and one on Friday afternoon. I also had a Stall at the When you Wish Upon  Star Charity Event Fashion Show, which generated some further interest. Both cards were made during the usual 2 hour sessions and utilised numerous techniques from colouring/stamping through to embossing/punching and die cutting.

With Paul still being away in Saudi Arabia, the first card featured a lovely sunset, water and a boat, in a simple easel design.  The background was created using an ink/sponge and masking technique and the colouring of the boat and tree  using the aqua painter (water brush) and baked brown sugar ink pad.

The stamp is from the ‘moon lake’ collection featured in the
Spring/Summer mini catalogue at only £16.95 for clear and £23.95 for
wood mount

The second card was more traditional. The 3D contrast on pure white card is always a favourite and when contrasted with a ribbon and coloured insert, it really helps the features stand out.

The embossing was created using the spring flowers embossing folder, offset to give further contrast.

I was given some ‘Tattered Lace’ dies for my birthday and was eager to play with them, so I have used one of them on this card, which is the delicate blossoming flourish which I have placed through the oval die cut hole.

I have made a duplicate card but instead of the flourish have replaced it with the leaves from the bird builder punch and I think this is a lovely alternative

The butterflies were die cut using the butterfly embosslit folder which
have now sadly just retired from the catalogue. They have been so
popular they have already sold out! Lots of other designs are available
in the catalogue, so please check out the brochure or my shop to add
different detailing to create your own design.

This weeks weekly deals
are listed below and will be only available until Tuesday
28th April before a new collection of deals is announced.
