You may remember, a few weeks ago I made a ‘bendi’ card for my daughters birthday (HERE). For something a little different in our weekly and monthly classes, I decided to follow the same design and create one with a Christmas theme.
The card we made is pictured below and gives a simple 3D visual effect, when viewed from different angles, yet still folds flat in an envelope. The card also stands up well and is less susceptible to falling from the usual knocks or draughts….. Good for the blustery nights ahead!

We used a couple of the papers from the Merry Moments paper stack to decorate the card and punched more petals from the flower builder punch to make up the poinsettia. One of my ladies at today’s class mentioned she has made lots of poinsettia’s, they are great fun and add a very special touch to any Christmas theme.
The second card we made during the class featured Bambi in a woodland theme….
The woodland theme was created using the woodland embossing folder which has been inked with crumb cake before rolling it through the big shot. A little messy, but the effect is worth it.
It is another great idea using the embossing folder and you just rinse it under the tap when finished to clean it.
