Last week I published a post on the vertical wall Christmas
decoration/banner, using the
winter wonderland papers, which we made in our Saturday afternoon class a few weeks ago. The
second project we made in the class was a beautiful luminaire decoration, created from both the Hearth & Home and sleigh ride framelits. The decoration allowed us to install a battery ‘flickering’ tea light (supplied), giving it a real warm Christmas feel, without the risk of fire…..

We die cut 4 of the window
frames using the Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies along with 4 window boxes from Night of Navy cardstock, 4 images from the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies
from white card and  4 ‘window’s from vellum
The vellum ‘window’ was attached to each window frame and then the Sleigh Ride images where attached to the inside of each of the windows.

The window box pieces were scored  in half, and attached to the sides of the windows to make up the luminaire box

The festive flower punch was then used to create the flower decoration on top, using 12 medium petals and 2 twin petals and then glittered using the glue pen and dazzling diamonds glitter.

A battery operated tealight was placed inside. The one I used flickers like a real candle, and gives off a lovely glow.

I will be publishing a couple more posts before Christmas to show other recent projects. Watch out for these and don’t forget the Year-End sale which ends on January 4th or when stocks run out.

There are still lots of bargains available, so don’t forget to look over at my ONLINE SHOP and maybe treat yourself to a last Christmas goodie or better still get someone to buy it for you!

Best Wishes
