After a long break for Christmas I finely started back with my first craft class for 2016. With all the new fabulous products to play with from the new spring/summer and sale-a-bration catalogues I have had so much fun over the past couple of weeks creating lots of different cards for my upcoming classes…

In the class I decided to do two cards for different genders, that could be adopted for near enough any occasion throughout the year.

The first one was made using the new Grateful Bunch bundle set from the occasions catalogue. This  set consists of  8 stamps and a co-ordinating blossom bunch punch

I chose Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry colour combination

The second card is a variation of one we made before christmas when we used the lovely as a tree stamp set. You can view it HERE

The woodland textured embossing folder was inked with crumb cake and then tempting turquoise was swooped across the top and bottom of the folder.

The cars were then stamped directly onto the same part of the
embossing folder in the position you want them to be. We found holding the stamp in position for a couple of seconds gave a better image giving time for the ink to transfer to the embossing folder. Remember the images will print as a mirror image and the cars will be heading in a different direction
A piece of very vanilla card was placed in the desired position in the folder and then rolled through the big shot machine. The cars were highlighted with an aquapainter and tempting turquoise ink by colouring the car doors and paintwork and the tree trunks were sponged lightly with crumb cake
Everyone’s image was unique
