This week I decided to use one of the free sets available from the sale-a-bration cataloue this year. The catalogue has been so popular this year, with many of my customers already taking advantage of the free offers. The stamp set I used was the ‘Sky is the limit’ which is one of my favourite FREE sale-a-bration stamp sets this year. It is so much fun and I love the old aeroplane.

The sky is created by punching out a ‘cloud’ from the tree builder punch and using it as a mask. Sponge soft sky ink randomly around the mask over the top half of the whisper white card.

One of the trees from the The lovely as a Tree stamp set was inked in memento black and stamped three generations over the bottom half of the card creating different shades of black and greys for the trees.

The plane was stamped in memento black on a separate piece of card and decoupaged. Can you spot the propellor? We punched a 3/4″ circle in vellum and attached it with a mini brad in the centre

A similar card to the one above but stamped with a combination of green, crumb cake and black ink.

The second card was created with the Bloomin’ Love stamp set and coordinating Thinlits Dies.

This intricate die cut heart is so gorgeous and is a great addition to anyones craft stash. It didn’t require anything more adding to it apart from the die cut flowers from the new Blushing bride glimmer paper and some organza ribbon wrapped around the bottom of the card. A simple layered card with stunning results.

Sky is the Limit stamp set is just one of the products you can get for FREE when purchasing £45
Stampin’ Up items during the Sale-a-bration promotion. This set however is only available for a limited time until 15th February.
