It was a double emotions day in January when Paul celebrated his 50th Birthday 🙂 . He was adamant he didn’t want a party, but we managed to convince him to have a family gathering, which I think he really enjoyed. The only problem is, Paul turning 50, means I am also almost 50! :-(.
Anyway enough of that depressing thought…lol, below is the card I made for his special day. Even Paul was impressed, which doesn’t come easily these days…..

I used the new large number framelits along with the balloon and medium punches in gold, black and dazzling diamonds glimmer paper to create the embellishments for the pop up box card. Each one was stuck to strips of acetate to make them look as if they are suspended in the air

Our daughter Leanne made the birthday cake and I created the topper to match the card!  I am finding these new framelits and punches very useful
