Another couple of cards to share with you today featuring the ‘Dragonfly Dreams’ stamps
and co-ordinating ‘Detailed Dragonfly’ Thinlits dies.
I am loving this set so
much, I don’t want to put it down as I seem to be finding lots of different cards that I want to create with it. These cards are part two in a series of three we have made in our recent
classes showing a variety of different techniques
Resist embossing technique using white embossing powder and a background wash with aquapainters in wisteria wonder and blushing bride ink swooped across the card.
Large dragonfly was die cut in vellum and small dragonfly heat embossed with blushing bride embossing powder and die cut.
I really like this colour combination of this card in bermuda bay and mint macaron. A couple of the smaller dragonflies were die cut, separated and glued onto co-ordinated card and fussy cut around and placed onto stamped background with the dots from the same stamp set with dimensionals
