There are lots of pop and twist cards on the internet and I studied quite a few You Tube videos before attempting to make one of my own for my husband’s birthday. Although they look very complex and intricate I was quite surprised at how easy they are to construct.

I showed the card to my class last week and they all loved the design and requested to make one too!

There were quite a few elements to the construction but we did it in stages and it all went smoothly.  The ladies were all very happy with their pop and twist creation!!

We created our own background paper by randomly stamping various sizes of card with the tacks, screw and happy birthday in smoky slate, basic black and delightful dijon inks

The tools were stamped twice onto delightful dijon and smoky slate coloured card, die cut and then paper pieced together.
