I first showcased this card at my annual catalogue open day and it caught everyones eye and had numerous requests to create it in one of our card classes. I used the butterfly and sentiment stamps from the Painted Glass stamp set
Below, you can see the Template I drew on a 6″ x 6″ window sheet. There are three different sized wreath templates ranging from 3 1/2, 3 3/4, and 4 inches, depending on the colour of the lines.
The butterfly stamp was added to the STAMPARATUS where the first stamped image needed to be placed. The butterfly stamp was inked a few times in black stazon, then the image was stamped and the cardstock was turned 1/4 turn after each inking. Each time we inked and stamped, the card stock was turned 1/4 turn. Eventually, the wreath was completed. Once the 1st wreath was completed the stamps were left mounted on one of the Stamparatus plates for the next person in class to use.
The butterflies were coloured in with stamp write markers and a litle wink of stella. The picture is not very clear but the Highland heather cardstock was run through the subtle embossing folder to give a textured background. I really like this embossing folder and one you probably wouldn’t purchase as the picture is not very clear in the catalogue
